ASE PTA would like to recognize Ana Rioja as our Volunteer of the Month for August! In addition to her roles as PTA Secretary and one of the 5th Grade Leads, she is always helping behind the scenes whenever an opportunity arises. This month, she volunteered at numerous Back to School events, including the Teachers Luncheon, Meet the Teacher, Pre-K/Kinder Orientation, Pre-K/Kinder Popsicles at the Playground, and VIPS Coffee. She assisted in restocking the teachers’ lounge, replacing the school soccer nets, putting up the Writing Challenge bulletin board, and even recruited her husband to help construct the new PTA and Custodian storage sheds. We thank Ana for tirelessly working for our students, teachers/staff, and families at Anne Sullivan Elementary! 

We have been able to provide:  

- $1257.00 worth of resources needed to enhance learning and classroom experience for students and teachers/ staff.

- $500 for indoor and outdoor recess items such as board games, card games, playground and sports balls, air pumps, and jump ropes
