Farm Fresh Month: Celebrating Local Goodness (OR Freshness OR Produce) in School Meals This October, we're Leveling Up Farm Fresh Month as we highlight the importance of incorporating locally sourced produce into our new menu across school cafeterias in Fort Bend ISD. By incorporating fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables into our school meals, we're not only supporting Texas farmers but also giving students access to nutritious, seasonal options that fuel learning and growth. (OPTIONAL: Farm Fresh Month is a great opportunity to engage students in conversations about where their food comes from and why healthier choices matter.
