Holocaust Remembrance Week

Holocaust Remembrance Week is designated annually the last week in January in Texas public schools to educate students about the Holocaust and to inspire in students a sense of responsibility to recognize and uphold human value. Under Texas Education Code §29.9072, districts are required to provide age‑appropriate instruction that helps students understand the history and lessons of the Holocaust.
