ASE’s PTA is honored to announce Wendy Osmonov as February’s Volunteer of the Month. Wendy has been extremely busy this year pulling double duty as both the 2nd grade room parent lead and Yearbook Committee Chair. As the 2nd grade room parent lead she has helped organize both class parties and is always eager to answer any questions the 2nd grade parents ask. The yearbook has kept her busy since day 1 as she has been coordinating volunteer photographers and organizing hundreds of photos collected throughout the year. In the midst of all this, she is still finding time to volunteer with other grades. This past month she helped volunteer during the 4th grade PAWS on Science activity.  Thank you Wendy for all your hard work and dedication. 

We have been able to provide:  

• Kindergarten teachers received dry erase boards for all classes and phonemic awareness curriculums for the kindergarten class level.
• Our art teachers, Ms. Smith & Mrs. Leverman with professional development courses. 
• Ms Roosma was given dry erase boards, a new class stapler, book bags, and math games. 
• Ms. Newton was able to obtain  the handwriting program, Size Matters, that helps impact legibility for students.  
• Ms. Byrd received a new laminator and wireless keyboard, as well as class supplies for her student’s stations. 
• Ms. Momin was gifted a few book sets to enrich her class library. 
• Ms. Elsaadi was provided sound reducing headphones for her students. 
• Mrs Toledo was able to get new seat sacks to help her students organize their materials. 
• Ms. Hochstetler received teaching manuals to help with phonics for kindergarten and first grade. 
• The administration team received signage stands for all school events. 
• Coach Chauvin and our Physical Education department was gifted new gym equipment and physical education games for all ASE Students.

Remember to congratulate your student in the Anne Sullivan Elementary yearbook! Parents can purchase and customize 1/8, 1/4, or 1/2-page recognition ads (to appear in every yearbook) for their 5th grader by April 11th.
