Thank you Anne Sullivan families, friends and community in helping us not only reach but EXCEED our goal!

We have raised a total of $46,700 this school year!! Your generosity and support are truly appreciated.

We couldn't do what we do without you!!

Teachers, classes, and parents, a big thank you for bringing some fun, friendly competitiveness to our class competitions!

Many classes were neck to neck, and it was a close call!! Huge congratulations to the winning classes in each grade level!!

DONATION IN ACTION

Have you ever wondered how your donation is making a difference by supporting our students, teachers/staff, and the school? Below is a list of programs the ASE PTA has funded thus far this school year.

VIPS OF THE MONTH

ASE PTA is proud to announce our October VIPS (Volunteer in Public Schools) of the Month, Kavita Sachdev and Rose Chan. They both have been instrumental in helping with ASE’s Dalmatian Nation Drive.

Kavita Sachdev

Kavita Sachdev has been a dedicated room parent and VIPS volunteer for many years. This past month she went above and beyond helping out with DND by volunteering to stay for all 6 lunches multiple times to help hand out stickers to donating families. She ended the month by volunteering all day for our Fall Festival.

Rose Chan

Rose Chan is also a dedicated room parent and VIPS volunteer at ASE. For the last couple of months, Rose has played an integral part in keeping families informed and updated on the DND fundraising progress. She did this by making many flyers to keep us up to speed on how much money DND has raised every week and which teachers in each grade are in the lead. She also made informative flyers to inform parents how funds donated to DND are allocated.

Our ASE Teachers and staff are Awesome to the Core! They enjoyed an amazing Caramel Apple Bar sponsored by The PTA and our wonderful ASE Parents!

UPCOMING EVENTS

November 15 - Thankful & Grateful Appreciation Luncheon - For this appreciation luncheon, we will get catering from Rudy’s, and our teachers and staff will bring delicious side dishes. Thank you to all our amazing parents who donated to this event!

December 1 - Treats Bar - A little something salty and a little something sweet

December 8 - Polar Express Hot Chocolate and Cookie Bar

December 11 - Teachers & Staff Breakfast

GIFTING

Gifting update:

We provided Ms. Smith and Ms. Leverman with glue guns to easily hang art work throughout the school.
Ms. Huynh was gifted with a pencil sharpener, headphones, and books for her classroom.
Ms. Edmonds was given post it easel pads to help with classroom instruction.
Ms. Serle was provided with baskets and file folders to organize supplies and instruction materials.
We supplied chair-back pockets for students to keep guided reading books and learning tools for students in 1st grade classes of Ms. Proett, Ms. Hodge, Ms. Taylor, and Ms. McClelland.
