VIPS OF THE MONTH

ASE PTA would like to salute our September VIPS (Volunteer in Public Schools) of the Month, Dana Tran. Dana is our current Room Rep Coordinator. Dana undertook the task of updating the guidelines for our grade leads and room reps. She also spent time working with admin to ensure that the parent volunteers in the classrooms were addressing the needs of the teachers. Once school started she worked on coordinating almost 300 parent volunteers to fulfill all the grade leads, room reps and room volunteers for each teacher. This past month was even busier as she helped all the volunteers navigate their roles and responsibilities for the year. We thank Dana for tirelessly working for our students, teachers and families at Anne Sullivan Elementary.
