Anne Sullivan Elementary PTA is excited to announce Cissy Xiao as our August VIPS (Volunteer in Public Schools) of the Month. Cissy is our current VP of Communications and a room parent. In the week preceding the start of school, Cissy single handedly set up our Membership Toolkit site. Not only did she spend countless hours setting up our site from scratch, she has also linked our old website and entire database of documents to our new platform. Cissy has gone above and beyond by providing countless 1:1 sessions to multiple chairs in order to complete each section of our website. Due to her efforts, the PTA now has a modernized platform that enables us to provide more services to our community. Thank you Cissy for all of your hard work. You are appreciated! 

We have been able to provide 

• Our amazing front desk receptionist, Ms. Donna Allotta with a requested new laminator.
• Ms. Courtney Weldon in 1st grade with two much need storage units for students to store their ELA and math manipulatives.
• Ms. Laura Byrd with an annual subscription to help provide material for her classes as well as her new  GT class.
• Ms. Fawzia Elsaadi, in our SPED department, with pillow covers for “safe zones” which are “Things I can control” psychology mental health covers. It is a quick reflection for students needing a “break” to calm down.
